*Strategy is something brands hold dear. Documents created for clients showcasing their inherent target consumers, profiles and brand planning will not be included here. Although, I am happy to discuss in general terms,
So one day, I went to school for Advertising...
I'm a classically trained art director and graphic designer with 15 years of experience working on global and local brands in all factions. Specialties include: conceptual thinking for advertising, promotion, packaging, identity, POS, apparel, etc. I apply strategic thinking into every project that I take on. I've always been curious as to why people do what they do, and I've found a way to hone that curiosity and apply it to projects for a variety of clients.
Over the years, I taught myself about launching and operating e-commerce sites and websites as well as taken an avid interest in emerging tech like AR, VR, MR and how we will be using them daily in the future.
I'm a creative thinker, thoughtful designer, style chameleon, analog photography lover, confident decorator, avid foodie, amateur event planner and life experience collector.
While in college at Syracuse University, I rowed on the Women's Rowing Team, won a Big East Championship, watched a NCAA Men's Basketball Championship come home to the ‘Cuse, studied abroad in London and graduated from The School of Visual and Performing Arts with a BFA majoring in Advertising Design and minoring in Art Photography. After moving to Fairfield County, CT, I spent 5 years working on Jose Cuervo tequila and other global alcohol brands. I then moved into the shopper marketing world and focused on Mars Candy. From there I made the jump back to liquor marketing and design and found myself on Madison Avenue working on Grand Marnier and Hain Celestial Brands. After some soul searching and a couple rough years, I made the move to Burlington, VT.
I found a great home at Select for 8 years working on many, many brands in many different ways. I’ve led people, I’ve created new positions, I’ve done everything from graphic and web design to photography to jumping on the shipping desk, to e-comm customer service, content management for social and websites. I’ve launched apps, websites and helped clients innovate, launch new products as well as help identify new areas to go in from a technology space and a consumer behavior space.
New Breed has given me the opportunity to utilize my project management skills and by instincts for customer experience by honing my UI/UX skills as well as think strategically for specific and unique client problems.
